Dina Lohan, mother of actress Lindsay Lohan confirmed to press that her daughter was hospitalized due to an asthma attack in Los Angeles. As reported by People magazine, Lindsay had difficulty breathing on Thursday and was rushed to the nearest emergency room for first aide treatment.

Dina said, “She was losing oxygen and she couldn’t even breath.”A close friend of the family even claimed that Lindsay was just visiting a friend in the hospital. Dina is so pissed off and told People magazine,

“She was afraid to go the hospital because they were gonna write about it. She was sick.If you were sick, and your mother couldn’t even take you to a hospital because paparazzi will fabricate some story, you know, it’s sad. It’s really sad.”

A word of caution to those insensitive paparrazi out there -We all know Lindsay is a celebrity but she is also a human being who gets sick and privacy is something that should be respected whether you are in the limelight or not.
