Lovers’ quarrels are normal, everyday stuff that couples have. But when you’re a celebrity, having fights will lead to writeups on national tabloids and such. And that’s what happened to Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson. Their raucous fights are well-documented and recently, it was reported that they had a rather explosive fight that took place at Samantha’s home. It apparently involved not only yelling but that Lindsay Lohan and Sam also threw objects around.

A source told gossip website x17: “The noise was pretty frightening. It was the two of them screeching at one another, and you could hear stuff being banged around too - it sounded like a lovers’ quarrel, but a pretty bad one!” Later, an angry-looking Lindsay Lohan emerged from Sam’s house and reportedly phoned the police from the end of the road to ensure she wasn’t followed by paparazzi.

After all the brouhaha about LiLo going back to her calorie-counting ways (she has been photographed on a shopping trip wearing a skin-tight vest that showed off her protruding ribs), her camp finally sent out a reply to the world. Lindsay Lohan’s representative hit out at reports that the star is battling an eating disorder and insists she’s not heading back to her scary- skinny period. The representative tells New York gossip column PageSix,

“Lindsay Lohan is aware that she’s lost some weight due to stress, but we recently did a photo shoot and she ate two full meals.”

For sure two meals during a workday isn’t enough for normal people. But I guess for a celebrity trying to keep slim it’s a big thing. Especially since Lindsay Lohan was rumored to be “surviving on candy and Red Bull” and “completely stressed out” by her rocky relationship with Samantha Ronson (hence her dramatic weight loss).

Yeah, big and controversial words! And I’m so glad Lindsay Lohan has her own convictions on these relevant issues. Just goes to show she’s definitely mature now! =) In her MySpace blog, the Ugly Betty guest star wrote:

“I am concerned with the fact that Sarah Palin brought the attention to her daughter’s pregnancy, rather than all world issues and what she believes she could possibly do to change them-if elected. I get Sarah Palin’s views against abortion, but i would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country … Maybe focus on delivering some words and policy with stronger impact like Joe Biden.”

As for sex, Lindsay Lohan shared, “I heard a woman say on TODAY on NBC that teens are feeling as if they have to grow up faster. Really? Because, I think that girls that are CHOOSING to be sexually active and are making a conscious decision to grow up faster…” Lindsay Lohan further adds, “I think that parents need to recognize how important it is to talk to their children about the things that can result from being sexually active if they aren’t protecting themselves (birth control, condoms, etc.)” You go gurl! =)

Do wonders never cease?? LOL! Anyway, the reason why Lindsay Lohan and dad, Michael Lohan, are on a shaky truce is because of the actress’ paternal grandfather’s death due to colon cancer. He earlier issued an ultimatum to Lindsay Lohan’s mom, Dina, saying: “I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina’s attorney. Let’s see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral.” Unfortunately for Michael Lohan, the Mean Girls star did not appear at her granddad’s funeral last week.
However, her father told E! Online very recently that Lindsay Lohan will be present for the final service in New York. He said, “She is going to be at the burial. All my kids will be there. Lindsay is my daughter. Nothing will ever separate a father’s love from his kids … We are going to get on our boat with probably like 50 or 60 people and go out. We are just going to sprinkle [his dad’s cremated remains] them together as a family.”

LiLo’s current love (still to be confirmed) has been accused by the actress’ dad as writing a tell-all book about their relationship. Michael Lohan, however, said it was Lindsay Lohan’s mom, Dina, who told him about the book. He revealed,

Dina said to me the other day, and you can hear it on my voicemail, ‘Did you hear that Sam’s writing a book?’ So it seems it may be true. Samantha’s a control freak and she’s using Lindsay Lohan to further her career.

However, this was refuted by Sam Ronson on her MySpace blog in which the DJ wrote (verbatim): “i’m not the one that is so lost that i need to use my relationship with Lindsay lohan to earn a living…. i am, always will and always have been here for her for her- not for anything else….so I think it’s safe to say that there is not now and never will be a tell all….. written by me….. when does your book come out mr. lohan?”

Note to parents: never, ever badmouth your child’s loved one in the public or else, you risk losing his/her respect for you! Michael Lohan has been a controversial father to Lindsay Lohan. He has said he has reformed but he always talks to the media about his daughter’s personal life. Recently, he dissed Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan’s rumored lesbian lover. Of course, the Mean Girls star just can’t keep silent about it. After all, she loves Sam! As a friend or more than that, we still don’t know for sure. Anyway, here’s what Lindsay Lohan blogged in her MySpace in response to her dad’s rants on Sam and her life:

He has no idea what is going on in my life because i have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.

Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.

This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item.

And I thought Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father is happy for her! After all, LiLo looks very healthy and happy now — and I bet my money that Samantha Ronson has something to do with it all. Anyway, Michael Lohan gave an exclusive interview to X17online.com where he said that Sam is a drug, and that she’s a slob. Very mean of Lindsay Lohan’s dad to say huh?? Michael Lohan: She’s feeding Lindsay alcohol behind the scenes, but that’s really Lindsay’s fault for taking it — it’s not about drugs or alcohol. A person can be a drug and Sam is a drug. She’s very controlling and manipulative and it’s not a healthy relationship for Lindsay.

X17: What do you say about accusations from the media that you’re attacking Sam simply don’t like what has been portrayed as Lindsay Lohan’s gay relationship with her?

Michael Lohan: That’s not the reason at all. Lindsay is fragile and Sam takes advantage of her and the relationship is too intense and too dramatic. Sam and Dina are probably the two worst people Lindsay could be around right now … along with her friend Patrick.

She reportedly told a friend: “Everyone thinks Samantha is Lindsay Lohan’s first lesbian love, but we were very passionate until her fear of being found out drove us apart. At the time she was terrified her career would be over if she revealed her sexual tendencies. But then Samantha came on to the scene and I was dropped.” OUCH! So what was in Sam Ronson that convinced the Mean Girls actress to come out of the closet? I’m really curious!!

Meanwhile, Courtenay Semel’s pal says: “She [Courtenay] met Lindsay Lohan in the summer of 2006 at a party in Malibu. From the start Lindsay was very confused about her feelings for Courtenay so did more and more drugs to stifle the sexual attraction she was experiencing. But eventually Lindsay Lohan just gave in and at every party they’d kiss and touch each other in the corner. It’s a miracle nobody found out. While writing in her MySpace blog recently, Lindsay Lohan expressed her appreciation for all the fans that stood by her along the bumps of her life. People.com quoted her, as stating on her blog: “I want to thank you all for writing me and being supportive of things that are going on in my life.” Lindsay Lohan also wrote about her upcoming plans. She wrote, “In 4 days I am back off to NYC to start shooting 3 more episodes of Ugly Betty. The cast of the show is really great and fun to work with and I enjoy shooting in NY.” Guess Lindsay Lohan is back to work after spending quality time with Samantha Ronson’s family and relaxing at home for the past few days!
