Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan is not impressed with his daughter’s latest choice in movie roles. Lohan is set to star in a film about the true story of cult leader Charles Manson.

Michael thinks the 21-year-old should stick to “mainstream films.”

“I really hope that Lindsay gets back to the kinds of films that led to her success. I’d like to see her do more mainstream films,” he said. “Some of the movies that she has done recently were geared to a specific audience. But when you’re the kind of star Lindsay is, you have to appeal to a general audience, not just a specific audience.”

Lohan will play Nancy Pitman; a 16-year-old who ran away from home to join Manson’s cult. Manson is currently serving a life sentence on seven murder charges.

Lindsay Lohan goes back to blonde again.  It seems Lindsay can’t decide what hair color she wants these past few days.  But I think I like her more in red hair.  What do you think?  Coz in her new look now she seems mature than her age.  But whatever color would it be, Lindsay still looks pretty, right?

Lindsay Lohan was having a busy easter weekend from shopping, to dinner, to clubs.  She went shopping in Ventura, California together with her friends wearing a sleeveless grey mini dress.  Then, she ate at Katsuya Restaurant and after dinner Lindsay and Samantha Ronson went to Villa Lounge in West Hollywood.  Photos below.
